About Us
Salter Quality Kitchens is a small, family-owned business based in Blanchetown, founded by Nathan (Nat), a qualified cabinet maker with a lifelong passion for craftsmanship and design. Nat started the business in 2009 with a vision to combine practical skills with creative, lasting cabinetry solutions for homes and businesses across the Riverland and surrounding regions.
Craftsmanship runs in the family—Nat’s father is a retired carpenter, and growing up around tools and timber sparked Nat’s early interest in working with his hands. That foundation has shaped the way Salter Quality Kitchens operates today—built on skill, integrity, and good old-fashioned hard work. Nat lives locally with his wife and three children, and family values are central to how the team works and connects with clients.
Three years ago, Naish came on board as an apprentice cabinet maker and quickly became part of the family. Now in his third year of a four-year apprenticeship, Naish brings a keen eye for detail, a great work ethic, and a real enthusiasm for the trade. His commitment to learning and quality workmanship has made him an essential part of the team.
We’re also lucky to have Chris on the crew—someone who’s worked alongside Nat for almost a decade. Chris is one of those blokes who can turn his hand to just about anything. A jack of all trades (and yes, even a qualified butcher!), his versatility, dedication, and reliability make him an absolute asset on every project.
Together, Nat, Naish, and Chris bring a mix of experience, passion, and practical know-how to every job. From custom kitchens and wardrobes to vanities and BBQ areas, we work closely with our clients to design, create, and transform spaces that are tailored to their lifestyle.
